When the Mill thinks of Bayern Munich it automatically thinks of its craggy old German teacher, who never tired of pointing out that 'Bayern Munich' is a despicable hybrid, a shamelessly half-baked translation. Either club's full name is English (giving Bavaria Munich) or it is all in German (Bayern München). Very good.
